Hello, it’s Ava Mucikyan – your Self-Care Liaison. For the past 5 years I had quit my corporate career and dedicated myself to helping the Las Vegas Community embrace the importance of self-care. The Salt Room was born with one mission in mind – to help you connect with your mind, body and soul; a safe place where you come to unwind, destress, rejuvenate and heal.
I have never intended to open a business for recognition, as I’ve had enough of them growing up, including piles of certificates from the corporations I’ve worked for. But one day I realized that the titles and certificates add very little value to my heart and soul, they simply fed my overachiever ego.
It was, however, a pleasant surprise to receive recognition from the State for the work that I’ve done for Las Vegas and Henderson communities.
As a previous Business Banker myself I understand how much our small businesses do for our economy and how little recognition they receive for all of their hard work. So I took the initiative to help as many small business in the community as I can through collaboration and partnerships. I am blessed to have the love and support of our community and I admire all the contribution that they made in shaping the economy of the Southern Nevada.
