“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation of all abundance,” – Ekhart Tolle
As December slowly settles in, we all tend to reflect on the year, trying so hard to remember what was this year memorable for. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I spent the entire 2018 in anticipation of the next month and planting seeds, and if it wasn’t for the little travel that I have done, I would have probably had to think very hard about it. This made me reflect back and remind myself to pause, and focus on spending the majority of each day doing what makes ME happy, saying NO to what drains my energy and spending time with people whose company I enjoy the most.
If you woke up in December feeling like you wasted time or money, you are in the scarcity mindset. Snap out of it ASAP. You see, life is not linear. Most of the people live this life like a marathon and rush to get to the finish line, missing all the joy and beauty in between. Life is more like an upwards spiral effect, where everything circles back until you are ready to move up in the spiral. Each day brings you a fresh slate to design the life that you want. And that life that you want is exactly the life that you are meant to live.
As children we tend to not have a concept of time or money. My son thinks anything before yesterday is YESTERDAY and anything after tomorrow is TOMORROW. How simple right? So he will tell people his birthday was yesterday, while it was back in July. Children have abundant mentality and they think anything is possible. We teach them the limits and program them into scarcity with NOs, DON’Ts and CAN’Ts. What if we tried being more like children, pure consciousness, believing in possibilities and miracles. After all, it can’t hurt. So tune into abundance mindset, concentrate on your blessings, prioritize joy, and happiness will follow you the whole year round. Here is to an abundant 2019 filled be joyful memories and countless blessings.
Yours in abundance,
